Zusammenfassung:	Provided is a weld cooling system comprising a plurality of weld cooling instruments operable to combine to provide cool air to a weld area created by a weld fusion machine. The plurality of weld cooling instruments comprises an air compressor, and a halo assembly operable to be mounted around a weld area such that cold air provided to the halo assembly can be displaced around a weld area. The halo assembly comprises an upper halo assembly and a lower halo assembly that cooperate to form a circle operable to wrap around a pipe section and/or be mounted to a weld support. Also provided is a weld cooling system comprising a plurality of weld cooling instruments operable to combine to provide cool air to a weld area created by a weld fusion machine, wherein the plurality of weld cooling instruments comprises an air compressor, an air-to-air cooler and one or more vortex tubes.
