Zusammenfassung:	Glazing (1) for fire protection-wall elements, -windows or -doors, comprises at least two parallelly spaced glass plates (2a, 2b), and a spacer (6) arranged between the glass plates. The spacer exhibits a sleeve (7) and at least two parallelly spaced block surfaces (8a, 8b), which are firmly connected with the sleeve. The sleeve is precisely closed on both sides with the block surfaces. An independent claim is also included for the fire protection element, preferably in the form of the wall element, the window or the door, comprising the glazing fixed with a holder, where the holder comprises at least one holding element, a counter plate and a fixing agent (15), with which the holding element is connected through the sleeve with the counter plate.
