Zusammenfassung: | A dental capsule consists of two shells 1,2, which are put together. Between the two shells there is placed a dividing wall 8 in the shape of a round plate and having a diameter which is greater than the internal diameter of the capsule. The round plate is clamped in place with a force which is sufficient to withstand all stresses during normal handling of the capsule. Upon vibration in a vibrator, the dividing wall is freed, however, by the mercury, so that this can be mixed with the added metal. The round plate is bent to the side and comes to lie essentially up against the cylindrical inner side of the capsule. In the common chamber 17 which is formed when the partition is freed, there are no pockets or hidden spaces where mercury or amalgam might remain once the capsule has been used. |
