Zusammenfassung:	A light emitting device comprising: a light emitting component having a gallium nitride compound semiconductor element which has a light emitting layer being capable of emitting blue light, and a garnet phosphor activated with cerium excited by the blue light from said light emitting component and emit yellow light, wherein said light emitting device emit light by blending blue light emitted by the light emitting component and yellow light emitted by the phosphor.
