The automatically working injection device has a measuring unit for determining measured values, particularly for determining of force values of multiple injections conducted from each other in a temporary distance. The measuring value stays in connection with injections of a medicine. An evaluation unit determines an injection occlusion from the stored measured values. A switching unit is provided with which a time interval between force value, which is to be stored, is changed depending on an evaluation result of the evaluation unit automatically. An independent claim is included for a method for determining an injection occlusion from measured values, particularly injection force values.
