Zusammenfassung:	Slaughterhouse processes demand responsible handling of live animals. Live animals typically arrive at slaughterhouses in groups on a transport truck, and after unloading, the aim is for the pigs to be able to follow the trail voluntarily. A well-designed slaughterhouse should allow the pigs to be driven by their natural curiosity. This invention relates to a system and a method for improving animal welfare in slaughterhouse processes, in particular after their arrival at the slaughterhouse and during their transit through the so called "race" to the anaesthesia-section, where the pigs are gently driven through a corridor to the stunner.
