Zeolite (Y) and process for the production thereof

The present invention relates to a process for the production of zeolite (Y) and sodium nitrate, as well as sulfur-free and chloride-free zeolite (Y) itself. The invention also provides sulfur-free and chloride-free and nitrate-free calcined zeolite and zeolite-based catalysts.
