Zusammenfassung: | The present disclosure relates to a roll and pitch compensating platform for stabilizing wind turbine elements on a vessel floating on a sea surface. The roll compensating platform comprises a base frame, a carrier frame, a middle frame, multiple actuators and a drive unit. The carrier frame is suspended in a double gimbal suspension formed by the base frame and the middle frame. The multiple actuators are adapted to provide a passive regulation to the carrier frame and to the middle frame respectively to maintain a substantially horizontal position of the carrier frame surface independently of the orientation of the base frame. The present disclosure furthermore relates to a vessel and a roll and pitch compensating system comprising the roll and pitch compensating platform and a method of operation the roll compensating platform. |
