A BRICK CUTTER

A brick cutter assembly according to the invention is able to efficiently cut bricks to desired sizes by means of at least three moving cutters driven by a single actuator through a linkage system. A preferred embodiment of a brick cutter assembly according to the invention comprises four moving cutters driven by two linear actuators. Each linear actuator comprises a linkage system to individually drive one cutter each and to jointly with the other linkage system drive the two other two cutters. The cutters are suitably arranged in 90 degree intervals, opposing each other two and two. The preferred embodiment further comprises features keeping edges of the cutters in substantially a same plane and keeping each cutter edge substantially perpendicular to its direction of travel during operation.
