Zusammenfassung:	A wind turbine (10) comprising a rotor (18), an electrical generator (26) coupled to the rotor (18), sensors (46, 48, 50, 52, 54, 55) for sensing conditions of the wind turbine (10), and a control system (40) coupled to the sensors (46, 48, 50, 52, 54, 55). The control system (40) is configured to control a speed of a tip (25) of the rotor (18) blade (24) by determining a wind speed proximate the wind turbine (10) and comparing the determined wind speed to a first programmed nominal wind speed and a second programmed nominal wind speed.
