Zusammenfassung:Qualitative and quantitative electrochemiluminescence analysis for special analytes present in multicomponent liquids is described. The methods involve placing a sample in contact with a reagent labelled with an electrochemiluminescent chemical group, and which is able to combine with the particular analyte, exposing the resulting sample to electrochemical energy, and then reading off the electromagnetic radiation emitted by the electrochemiluminescing chemical group. Furthermore, methods are provided for disclosing and identifying the presence of a whole series of analytes in a liquid foodstuff or foodstuff homogenate. These methods involve dipping of a diagnostic reagent holder outfitted with a whole series of reagents into the particular food product or homogenate, removing the diagnostic reagent holder from the liquid food product or homogenate, and disclosing and identifying the presence of a whole series of analytes in that they are bound to the diagnostic reagent holder, whereupon the presence of a whole series of particular analytes is disclosed and identified in the food product or in the food product homogenate. Furthermore, the invention provides an enzyme immunoassay method for coliform bacteria. This method involves inoculation of a sample in suitable substrate for coliform reproduction, immobilisation of the coliforms present in the substrate on a suitable surface, treating of the surface with antibody to the immobilised coliforms, and detection of the presence of immobilised coliforms immobilised on a suitable surface.
