Zusammenfassung:	Wet ash removal apparatus comprises an endless conveyor having drive input means (5) driven by an electric drive motor (6) through an hydrostatic regulating gear (7), the conveyor being arranged to circulate in a trough (1) of the apparatus. The hydrostatic regulating gear (7) is provided with a pressure monitor (14), which acts on a setting drive (16, 17). A setting lever (17) of the setting drive is connected with a gear shift lever (13) at the hydrostatic regulating gear (7). On a change in the pressure of oil in the regulating gear, a change in the output rotational speed of the regulating gear is effected automatically through the setting drive. Thus, an increase in the quantity of ash causes increased oil pressure resulting in an adjustment of the displacement of the pump of the hydrostatic gear (7) so as to increase the speed of the conveyor.
