Zusammenfassung: | At least one lactam having at least 6 ring members is subjected to an activated anionic polymerisation in the presence of a combination of a strongly alkaline catalyst and a weakly alkaline catalyst. The molar ratio of the catalysts is between 2:1 and 20:1, the concentration of the weakly alkaline catalyst, based on the lactam, is between 0.01 and 0.5 mol %, and the molar ratio of strongly alkaline catalyst to activator is between 1:3 and 3:1. One part of the lactam, mixed with the activator, is melted in a reservoir vessel while the remainder, mixed with the catalyst combination, is melted in a separate reservoir vessel. The melts are metered by means of metering pumps and two injection nozzles into the moulding tool where they are mixed countercurrently and polymerised. This produces unshrunk polyamide mouldings having an excellent integral foam structure. |
