Zusammenfassung:	1383983 2-Dialkylamino-1,3-bis-(alkoxyalkylthio)-propanes SANDOZ Ltd 10 April 1972 [13 April 1971] 16392/72 Heading C2C The invention comprises compounds of the formula in which R 1 and R 2 are C 1-5 alkyl, R 3 is hydrogen or C 1-5 alkyl and R 4 is C 1-3 alkyl, and their acid addition salts; and their production by reacting a compound of formula in which M is an alkali metal, with XCHR 3 OR 4 , in which X is Cl or Br. The starting materials may be made by reacting an alkali metal alcoholate with a compound and the latter (R 1 and R 2 are methyl) is made from 2-dimethylamino - 1,3 - dichloropropane hydrochloride and thioacetic acid. The compounds of the invention are insecticides and fungicides.
