Zusammenfassung:	1471327 Catalytic unit for ammonia oxidation DEUTSCHE GOLDUND SILBERSCHEIDEANSTALT 13 Aug 1974 [17 Aug 1973 21 Nov 1973] 35568/74 Heading BIF [Also in Division D1] A catalyst for the oxidation of ammonia to produce nitrogen oxides consists of a gauge pack in which all or some of the individual gauzes contain both wires of a platinumrhodium alloy and wires of a base-metal alloy which is resistant to oxidation and heat under the conditions of catalytic oxidation of ammonia. The base metal alloy wires may consist of an iron alloy containing 20-25% chromium and 3-5% aluminium and may be used as either the warp or weft wires.
