Zusammenfassung:	1368633 Substituted vinyl phosphoric acid ester; formyl propionic acid ester salts CIBAGEIGY AG 23 Sept 1971 [24 Sept 1970 5 Aug 1971] 44526/71 Addition to 1182129 Headings C2P and C2C The novel compound O,O-dimethyl-O-2- methyl-2-carbotertiarybutoxyvinyl phosphate may be prepared by reacting an alkali metal salt of the tertiary butyl ester of formyl propionic acid with O,O-dimethylphosphorochloridate. The sodium salt of the tertiary butyl ester of formylpropionic ester may be prepared by reacting sodium with carbon monoxide and propionic acid tertiary butyl ester. The compound of the invention has insecticidal and acaricidal properties and may be used as the active ingredient in conventional pesticidal compositions optionally together with other known active substances. The invention also comprises the compound of the invention in a container which bears instructions for use in combating insects or arachnids.
