Zusammenfassung:	A strapping machine for forming a seal between two portions of strapping material (S) includes a fixed support (20) and a movable support (18) movable away from and toward the fixed support (20) to form the seal. The strapping machine includes an eccentric shaft (14) defining primary and secondary axes of rotation (A1,A2), and having a key (60) extending from an end thereof. The movable support (8) moves about the secondary axis (A2). An actuating lever (12) rotates about the primary axis (A1) to move the movable support (18) towards and away from the fixed support (20). A variable strap width assembly (96, 98, 100) accommodates use of various strap widths.
