Zusammenfassung:The windowpane (3) may consist of two sheets of glass (4,5) with a space between them and sealed at the edges. A U-section frame profile (1) surrounds the edges of the pane. Thick strips of glue in the corners of the U-shaped frame seal it to the corners of the edge portion of the windowpane. The gap (13) between the frame and the windowpane contains a distance piece (11) between the edge of the pane and the bottom of the U-shape. There are channels (10) in the frame at intervals to allow glue to be pumped in.
