For the determination of immunologically detectable substances by the principle of the heterogeneous immunoassay by incubation with at least two receptors R1 and R2, of which R1 mediates the binding to the solid phase and R2 is a conjugate of a ligand which is able to bind to a substance to be determined and of a label, using a solid phase to which a reaction component capable of specific binding is bound, separation of the solids from the liquid phase and determination of the label in one of the two phases, the solid phase is a material to whose surface are bound partners capable of specific binding, and the sample solution is incubated with a plurality of different receptors R1, where each receptor R1 has both binding sites for the partner which is capable of specific binding and is bound to the solid phase and binding sites for one of the substances to be determined.
