[Also in Group IX] A switch controlling the driving motor of a textile winding machine (sec Group IX) comprises a spring loaded rod 60 having a push button 61 at one end and a grooved portion 65 at the other engageable by a catch 64, when the push button 61 is pressed inwards to expand outwardly a pair of contact strips 63 against fixed contacts. The catch 64 is disengaged automatically from the grooved portion 65, thus allowing the switch to open under its loading spring, when a yarn package is fully wound or a thread breaks.
