Zusammenfassung:	A speech recogniser is provided for identifying entries in a database. Results from the recognition of a user's speech are combined with each other and optionally with reference to data in the database in order to maximise the accuracy of an identified entry. An output is also provided which gives an indication of the likely accuracy of the identified entry.
