Zusammenfassung: | The disc brake comprises a clamp with two elements (8,21) which are positioned on opposite sides of the disc (D) and are fixed to a wheel hub. Each element is associated with a floating disc of friction material (190,19) parallel to the disc. The clamp is provided with means for adjusting the distance of each friction disc from the disc surface. These adjusting means comprise a pivot (13) carried by the chassis (T). A sliding primary fastener (P) is mounted on the pivot and held in place by a spring (14) interposed between the two clamp parts. The fastener engages with a pivot with an adjusting nut (16) on the side opposite the pivot. The pivot and the spring are parallel to the disc axis of rotation so that by acting on the nut the spring tension is adjusted and the position of the clamp element with the friction disc relative to the disc. A hydraulic servo piston with a spring (4) is activated by a control pump (15). The piston spring is associated with a coaxial pivot (5) for adjusting the distance of the friction disc from the disc. |
