The hook is U-shaped and its base corresponds to the diameter of the rod and it has parallel wings that are perpendicular to the axis (Y) of the rod. The hook is closed round the bar by a loop (9) in the form of a stirrup. The loop is articulated on one wing and is held in a groove in the opposite wing. It opens automatically under excessive force.
