Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-mode image forming element which is not corroded during IR irradiation. SOLUTION: A heat-mode image forming element is produced in such a manner that a first layer containing a polymer soluble with an alkali soln. is formed on a lithographic printing plate having a hydrophilic surface, that an uppermost layer is formed on the same surface of the lithographic printing plate where the first layer is formed, and that the uppermost has sensitivity for IR rays and is impermeable for an alkali developer containing SiO2 as a silicate. The heat-mode image forming element is exposed to IR rays according to an image, and the exposed heat-mode image forming element according to the image is developed with an alkali developer. The uppermost layer contains IR dyes selected from indoaniline dyes, cyanine dyes, merocyanine dyes, oxonol dyes, porphin derives., anthraquinone dyes, merostyryl dyes, pyrylium compds., diphenyl and triphenyl azo compds. and squarylium derives. |
