Zusammenfassung:	A new combinational library of indolinone compounds comprises >=10 indolinones that can be formed by reacting oxindoles with aldehydes. Also claimed is a method of making an indolinone comprising: (a) creating a combinational library (CL) of indolinones by reacting a series of oxindoles with a series of aldehydes; (b) testing the indolinones in biological assays; (c) selecting one or more indolinones with favourable activity; and (d) synthesising one or more of the selected indolinones.
