Zusammenfassung:	A lens body (1) for providing a flat light distribution has a pair of reflective surfaces (12, 13) inclined vertically and symmetrically and used as an illuminating device for a vehicle which does not cause glaring against the on-coming vehicles traveling on the opposite lane. Light entering from an incident surface (11) is emitted from an outgoing surface (14) after being reflected. Areas (22a - 25a, 22b - 25b) illuminated by the pair of reflective surfaces (12, 13) are formed having a substantially horizontal cut line CL at the right and left sides of an illuminated area (21) by direct light emitted from the outgoing surface (14) directly without being reflected on the reflective surfaces (12, 13).
