Zusammenfassung:	Gas transfer appts. comprises a housing for fluid throughflow and holding two sets (66,68) of intermingled hollow fibres. One set is connected between manifolds and has microporous walls so that gas can diffuse through into the fluid, and the second has liquid- and gas-impermeable walls and carries heat-transfer fluid. The second set is pref. connected between a second pair of manifolds. There are pref. unequal numbers of fibres in the sets and the fibres are woven into a mat which may consist of multiple layers of fibres with the fibres in each layer being of one set, extending in parallel and bonded together with transverse adhesive beads (78).
