Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing ultra-fine particles of sintered piezoelectric ceramic to be filled in elastomer and used as piezoelectric elastomer capable of sensing pressures. Piezoelectric ceramic powder such as lead titanate zirconate is sintered and added with a binder. The mixture is then formed into ultra-fine particles having rounded outer peripheral surfaces before subjected to sintering. Ultra-fine particles with rounded peripheral surfaces can be obtained by passing said mixture through a sieve and then by shaking. It is also possible to obtain the ultra-fine particles by obtaining a slurry of said mixture and injecting the same into a hot atmosphere.
