Zusammenfassung:Side-plates (2, 3, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17) and cross-pieces (21, 22) are cut out from a metal sheet. During the cutting-out operation, complementary interlocking means (23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 4, 5, 6, 13, 18, 19, 20), for example of the mortice-and-tenon type, are produced in the side-plates and cross-pieces. The side-plates and cross-pieces are assembled by placing the interlocking means in arrangements of mutual engagement in order to obtain an assembly of polyhedral shape. The side-plates are welded together along the edges (10, 11, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36,) of the polyhedral assembly. The method of the invention makes it possible to produce, in particular, a node for a lattice structure of great geometrical and dimensional precision.
