Zusammenfassung:A thermosensitive recording material capable of recording thereon clear colored images having high resistances to oily substances, plasticizers, moisture, and heat and an excellent storage persistency over a long time, comprises a thermosensitive colored image-forming layer formed on a sheet substrate and comprising a colorless dye precursor, a color developing agent, and a binder, the color developing agent comprising at least one compound of the formula (I): and the colored image-forming layer further comprising an additive comprising at least one selected from: (1) aromatic epoxy compounds, (2) aromatic aziridine compounds, (3) aromatic compounds of the formulae (II), (III) and (IV): in which formulae (I) to (IV), X, Y, Z, E, Q = O or S atom, R = substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon group, A = multivalent group, n = 2 or more, R = alkyl, aralkyl, unsubstituted or substituted aromatic hydrocarbon group, R = aralkyl, substituted alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted benzene or polynuclear aromatic group, R , R and R = unsubstituted aromatic group or substituted benzene group, R , R = H, unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, aralkyl, unsubstituted or substituted aromatic group, (4) aromatic sulfonyl compounds different from the compounds of the formulae (I) to (IV) and having a melting point of 60 to 160 DEG C, and (5) basic white pigments.
