Zusammenfassung:- The invention relates to a method of mechanically joining a tube of composite material with a metallic part, characterised in that, after making the tube (1) by winding up threads and cutting it off to the required length, a tubular metallic part (3) is introduced at each end, and the two are secured to one another by means of penetration elements (11) placed at identical, uniform circumferential alignments (12, 13, 14), identically spaced apart from each other, each defining a plane perpendicular to the axis of the tube (1) and according to the following distribution law: D = (n-1)i/K tg alpha in which   .D is the distance between two successive planes of circumferential alignments (12, 13, 14) of the penetration elements (11),   .K is an integer equal to 1 or 2,   .n is the number of alignments (12, 13, 14),   .i is the interval between two consecutive penetration elements (11) of the same alignment (12, 13, 14),   . alpha is the angle, with respect to the axis of the tube (1), of the layer of fibres intended to ensure tensile resistance. - Application in particular to composite tubes for oil exploration at sea.
