Zusammenfassung: | A saw blade (1, Fig.2) for a two-blade, contra-reciprocating saw (10, Fig. 1) consists of two strips (12, 14) spot welded together. Teeth (42, 44) are formed by scallops (46, 48) cut along the edge of the strips forming lands (52, 54). Abrasive grit such as tungsten carbide chips is brazed on the teeth (42, 44) except on side (51) of the teeth (42) which rub against each other as the blades reciprocate. The main cutting surfaces are lands (54) which are longer than lands (52). The arrangement is useful for cutting masonry and metal products and reduces stresses on the blade. |
