Zusammenfassung:A cementing agent used for electrically cementing ceramic members with each other by energizing a cementing agent at high temperature, which can well wet ceramic material and react with it and of which the conductive component comprises a fluoride, chloride and/or oxide ion conductor capable of forming carrier ions by preheating and giving a higher conductivity than that of the ceramic material when energized. The density or mobility of the carrier ions tends to be reduced in a fused state to cause a gradual increase in the resistance of a fused cementing agent, and an electrical path migrates smoothly after heating by energization as a result of an increased resistance accompanying an change in the composition or the like.
