Zusammenfassung:	Decalinic ketones of formula which may have a double bond in one of the positions shown by the dotted lines or two double bonds in positions 2 and 5 or 3 and 5, as indicated by the dotted lines, and in which the symbols R , R and R denote a hydrogen atom or a methyl radical, develop odorant notes of the woody-amber type, which may be accompanied by a damask-rose side unique in the case of compounds of this type. As a result, they can be employed for the preparation of scenting compositions and scented articles. An original process for the preparation of the compounds (I) is described.
