Zusammenfassung:	Containers are tested for volume and leaks by employing a pump 16 which provides rapid pressurized pulses simultaneously to a container 2 being tested and a standard container 6. Acoustic impedance materials 26, 28 are interposed between the pump 16 and the two containers 2, 6, to isolate the containers from each other. A differential pressure monitor 36 is interposed between the two containers to provide output to electronic processing apparatus 204 to 224 which may serve to either determine (a) solely if a leak exists or (b) in the alternative if no leak exists to determine whether the desired volume is present within the container.
