Zusammenfassung:The diagnostic system initiates the diagnostic phase by starting a station (2) which sends a message to all other stations (3,4,5) on the network. The station (2) can detect a failure to send the message and the other stations can detect failure to receive the message. An analysis of fault signals issued by the detectors allows the fault to be localized. Fault information can be stored.
