Zusammenfassung:	Lamp assembly has light source (16) mounted in reflector (14), directing light from source towards lens (18). Lens has peripheral collar (24) which is held in place on cylinder by deformation of edge of cylinder, forming a lip around collar and thus holding lens. Deformation is achieved by application of axial force on to the cylinder, parallel to the direction of the optical axis. Lens produces a beam of light along the optical axis (A-A) either for illumination or signalling. An independent claim is also included for the indicator or illuminating light fitting.
