A plurality of contacts (T1-T16) forming a network of an electrical wiring system (WH) is divided into a plurality of groups (G1-G4). The respective groups are insulated from each other. The insulated states of these groups are discriminated (S2), and the insulated states of the respective contacts in the respective groups are discriminated if the insulated states of the respective groups are judged to be satisfactory (S5). Thus, an electrical wiring system having a large number of contacts can be quickly electrically tested by maximally reducing the number of electrical tests.
