Zusammenfassung:	A fluid container ( 6 ) for use with an electrohydrodynamic spray device ( 1 ) and method of using the device ( 1 ) are provided. The container ( 6 ) comprises at least one reservoir configured for holding a sprayable liquid, at least one interface ( 23 ) in fluid communication with the reservoir, at least one manifold ( 22 ) comprising at least one fluid path in fluid communication with the interface ( 23 ), and at least one nozzle ( 8 ). The nozzle ( 8 ) comprises at least one spray site in fluid communication with the fluid path. The device ( 1 ) is configured to engage the container ( 6 ). The container ( 6 ) can be configured such that when the container ( 1 ) is engaged with the device ( 1 ), the device ( 1 ) recognizes the sprayable liquid within the container ( 6 ) and automatically (or manually) adjusts certain pre-defined settings in accordance with the characteristics of the sprayable liquid.
