Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to an intubating laryngoscope providing for ready interchange of blades, and comprising a handle (11), and a blade (12) having a proximal end, and a distal end (30), a hinge-like joinder (13) separably to join said handle (11) and said blade (12), and means for transmitting at least a light signal from said handle (11) to said distal end (30) of said blade (12). The invention is characterized in that said means comprise a flexible cable (55) extending from said handle (11), having a fixed end fixed to said handle (11), and a free end, and a guide tube (35) attached to said blade (12), extending from near the proximal end of said blade (12) to its distal end (30), said guide tube (35) being capable of accommodating said free end of said flexible cable (55).
