The machine has a refrigerated area in the form of a refrigerator in which a plurality of storage piles (1) are provided, said piles being disposed on two helicoidal elements (1a) that are separated by vertical partition walls and intended for receiving a sandwich between every pair of spirals. The helicoidal elements are actuated by a gear motor (1b) in such a way that the sandwiches refrigerated in the storage piles are individually supplied to an oven (6) where the bread is finally heated once the coins corresponding to the price of said sandwich have been inserted. Once heated, said sandwiches are supplied individually to the outside of the machine through a pick-up tray located in the door of said machine.
