Zusammenfassung:Edge sections (3,4) are positioned on the sides of the base (2) and are fixed at least partly along the edge (2a,b) of the base. The edge sections have an edge (3a,4a) folded over at an angle of approx. 180 deg. Between the cut pile (15) of the base, and that of the edge sections is a practically seamless transition. The cut pile (21,22) of the edge sections points mainly in the opposite direction to that of the base. The base has one at least partly peripheral edge (2a) joined to an edge of the edge strip incorporating the pile near the edge so as to form a double fabric.
