Zusammenfassung: | An active vibration damping system is applied to such as the crankshaft of a vehicle engine. Coupled to the crankshaft is a velocity sensor that provides an output compared with a reference. An output is applied to a linear motor (14) base absorber. This has a holder (28) that spans a flywheel disc (18) mounted on the crankshaft. Stator coils (24) with a set gap (26) relative to the flywheel are energised to provide a variable electromagnetic field for damping. The outer ring of the flywheel is isolated (20) from the main body. |
