In (I), X is e.g. O, S, NH, NMe, NCHO, NCOMe etc.; Y is e.g. O, S, NH, NMe, NEt, NCHO, NSO2Me etc.; R1 is e.g. H, 1-4C alkyl, 1-2C alkoxy, phenyl-(1-2C) alkoxy, hydroxy-(1-2C) alkyl, 1-2C (di)alkylaminocarbonyl, halo, NO2, CN etc.; R2 is e.g. 1-4C alkyl, 1-3C alkoxy, 1-3C haloalkyl, 1-3C haloalkoxy, 1-3C alkylthio, CN, NO2 etc.; R3-R6 are e.g. H, halo, NO2, CN, 1-4C alkyl, 1-3C alkoxy, 1-3C thioalkoxy, 1-3C haloalkyl, carboxy, 1-4C (di)alkylaminocarbonyl, amino etc.; and n is 1-3; with the proviso that: if R1-R6 are H and X is O, then Y is not O or S; and if R1-R6 are H and X is NH, then Y is not S. Also claimed are cpds. of formulae (IIa) and (IIb) with provisos. |
