Zusammenfassung:	The roof construction (2) is for a road vehicle. It is pivotable via a forced control device (5) supported on the bodywork from a closed position located in the area of a front windscreen frame and covering a rear area (6) into an opening position in the rear area (7) of the vehicle (1). In the opening position it is lowerable into a cover box (11) in the area of a rear flap (8) supported via a pivot axis (10). The rear flap with its pivot axis is linked to an auxiliary frame (12) which for its part is supported via a pivot axis (13) on the bodywork side in the lower vehicle end area (14). The rear flap in the area of its pivot axis is connected with the auxiliary frame via a guide rod (17).
