Zusammenfassung:	The appts. to cut cakes and pastries into portions has a guide (7,8) for the slide (6) which moves horizontally with a link to the blade (12). It has a guide rod (7) and a support bar (8) parallel to it, with a stopper (15) to hold the slide (6) by friction at any given point along the guide rod (7). To release the stopper (15), a lever (22) with an operating handgrip (23) is secured to the slide (6). At the guide bar (8), a support roller (16) is diametrically opposite the stopper (15), held by a pressure spring (21).
