To prevent clogging of the opening (1), the metallurgical vessel (4) has the following features: - the opening (1) is formed, viewed from the outside inwards, from a part (12) tapering to a narrow region (11) and a part (13) diverging from said narrow region (11), - the tapering part (12) is lined with a metal shell (14) and - the diverging part (13) is provided, at least partially, with a metal reinforcement (16, 16') having a gas supply device (20) (Fig. 1). |
