Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	A metallurgical vessel has a metal outer shell (7) and a refractory lining (8, 9) arranged on the inside of the metal outer shell (7) and an opening (1) which passes through the wall (3) of the vessel (4) and is intended for the introduction of a lance-like metallurgical implement, preferably a measuring and/or sampling probe (2). To prevent clogging of the opening (1), the metallurgical vessel (4) has the following features: - the opening (1) is formed, viewed from the outside inwards, from a part (12) tapering to a narrow region (11) and a part (13) diverging from said narrow region (11), - the tapering part (12) is lined with a metal shell (14) and - the diverging part (13) is provided, at least partially, with a metal reinforcement (16, 16') having a gas supply device (20) (Fig. 1).
