Torsion damper
A torque damper (10) contains a bottom unit (24, 124) which has a bridging coupling (26, 126) and a torsion damper (28, 128). The torsion damper has an input plate (30, 130) which forms part of the bridging coupling. Front and rear sheet-metal holders (34, 36; 134, 136) are fastened to the input pla...

Zusammenfassung: | A torque damper (10) contains a bottom unit (24, 124) which has a bridging coupling (26, 126) and a torsion damper (28, 128). The torsion damper has an input plate (30, 130) which forms part of the bridging coupling. Front and rear sheet-metal holders (34, 36; 134, 136) are fastened to the input plate and hold a multiplicity of torque-transmitting springs (38, 138). An outer crenellated area of an output plate (40, 140) is arranged between the front and rear sheet-metal holders and is in engagement with the torque-transmitting springs so that it is driven by the input plate via the sheet-metal holders. Furthermore, in one embodiment, the plates (30, 40) are connected to one another via a drive connection (42, 44) having clearance. The drive connection (42, 44) limits the relative angular motion in order to protect the torque-transmitting springs from an overload. In another embodiment, two identical sheet-metal holders (134, 136) are driven via a flange in order to further simplify the construction and save more space. |
