Zusammenfassung: | Technical problem of the invention = technical object and aim. The knowledge of the location of vehicles, persons and objects is required by various applications. To obtain knowledge on the location, satellite locating systems are used. These are based on the analysis of at least three satellite signals. The system is technically complex. Satellite receiving antennas, receivers, electronic analysing devices and devices for transmitting the information are needed. The accuracy of position is specified as being between 1 m and 500 m. The aim is to determine the location by means of cellular radio networks. Solution to the problem or way of achieving the technical object. Cellular radio networks which are in contact with their receivers or transmitters are suitable for determining the area where receiving/transmitting devices are located from the position of the cell transmitter, automatically or by order, and to store this centrally. The current position of stationary facilities can be called up by suitable interfaces. Field of application. Locating the location of lorries, cars, service engineers, delivery vans etc. |
